INTRODUCTION

From Wednesday, November 12 to Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage will present a special exhibition at the dedicated space in front of the information desk on the first floor of Daimaru Kyoto. This presentation coincides with Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK) 2025.
Launched in 2021 with the vision of passing manga on as a form of art to future generations, Shueisha Manga-Art Heritage has participated in art fairs in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. In September 2025, it was invited to the Art of Manga exhibition at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. This November marks its first participation in a domestic art fair, ACK 2025 in Kyoto. In addition, satellite exhibitions will be held at four locations throughout the city.
At Daimaru Kyoto, works by Eiichiro Oda ONE PIECE, Tite Kubo BLEACH, Riyoko Ikeda The Rose of Versailles, and Go Nagai Mazinger Z, including both previously released and new pieces, will be exhibited and available for purchase. A viewing table will be set up in the store, allowing visitors to browse works from stock cases upon request. Approximately 24 works will be on display, with around 14 additional works available from stock. Please note that viewing stock works will be guided one group at a time, and wait times may occur. Depending on crowd levels and time of day, viewing may not be possible.
Also featured for the first time are print works by Kyoko Okazaki and selected pieces from Jakuchu Ito’s Floral Compositions. These will be available for viewing and purchase. The full series will be exhibited at Kyoto Amplitude from November 13 to December 18.
